My name is Barb McDonald. I have been working in the creative industry for over 20 years. I have lived in 6 different states and have made my home in St. Louis, Missouri the past 12 years.

Managed a staff of 8 direct reports and several freelance teams. Responsible for all photo direction for fashion and off figure shoots on locations & studio. Responsible for keeping the brand consistent over all channels i.e.: Web, retail stores, branding and outlets. Responsible for maintaining a budget of $2.5 million a year.

Harry & David, Jackson & Perkins

Senior Art Director

Responsible for all photo direction of hard goods, food photography and flowers. Managed a staff of 7 in our in house photo studio and 4 in the area production. Worked closely with in house staff to elevate the photography of the in-house studio.

1995-2003

Coldwater Creek

Senior Graphic Designer

Responsible for all photo direction of off figure photography and hard/soft goods. Produced several photo shoots (in-house and freelance) and managed a design and production staff of five. This position was responsible for all color proofing of products and seeing each job to its final stage at press (gravure & offset).
